The report said in the past a few years, the US optical fiber cable shipment had experienced large fluctuation.
However, since the downstream industry’s demand had been increasing constantly, market demands of optical fiber cable started to increase as well.
In 2015, the market reached 1.929 billion dollars in America.
And it considered that demand would reach 2.24 billion dollars by 2020. During this period, the average increase rate is 3% per year.
In 2015, the total shipment of optical fiber cable was reaching this number, 69 million dollars more than 2014. But 49% was exported to global market. Statistics shows from 2008-2015, the US optical fiber cable export percentage has risen 18%. This ratio will be increasing until 2020.
