ZTE have NB-IoT trials along with China Unicom

After the hundreds-station NB-IoT commercial trial on Oct. 2016, ZTE held a series of trials in Shenyang, Hangzhou, Taizhou, Jinhua and Quanzhou along with China Unicom.
The trials includes services as smart parking, smart meter reading, smart manhole cover, and security monitoring.
It is the advanced technology in chips terminal, system equipment and platform capacity of ZTE makes China Unicom to co-work with it.
IoT has been well developing in China for years. It is predicted that the links will reach 1 billion by 2020 and operators will play an important role in the field.
As one participant of making criteria for NB-IoT technology, ZTE has long worked on systematically discussing relative technologies, supporting partners’ work and pushing the commercial operation of NB-IoT.
