As reported, Nokia Bell Labs, Deutsche Telekom T-Labs group and Technische Universitaet München cooperate to achieve 1Tbps optical fiber commission speed.

Nokia Bell Labs says, this breakthrough will enable telecommunication operators and enterprises to improve metropolitan area network and core network high-speed commission’s distance and capacity.
In this demonstration, the optical network reach its best capability when tunable commission speed rate fits the channel condition and data traffic.
