OVUM: ZTE will be the first in next generation PON

Recently, famous consultant organization OVUM published 2Q16 fixed internet product global market report Market Share Report: 2Q16 FTTx, DSL, and CMTS.
It shows that ZTE performed very well from 2015 3rd quarter to 2016 2nd quarter, ranking the first globally in next generation PON market and ranking the first in fixed internet accessing increase speed.

It performed outstandingly in PON product market. Its DSL market share increased fastest globally.
Its GPON ONU/ONT had the most shares in central South America region. And ADSL ranked that in Asia-Pacific and central South America markets.
At the same time, ZTE launched globally first 10G PON upstream smart gateway, reported supports 10G EPON and XGPON 1G upstream. It can fully use 10G PON’s swift access ability.
