China is testing 5G network

According to a ZTE spokesman, China Mobile Telecom is planning to test potential 5G network in 100 cities over 20 provinces. It will start in 2020, after setting the 5G network standard.
It is not known that the other two operators’ plan for 5G deployment.
It is reported that government will avoid multiple standards for TDD and FDD LTE which may causes waste of investment.
An unified standard can reduce costs of operators and whole industry and save resources.
