Microsoft founding new AI business group

Microsoft declared today, they would merge Technology and R&D department and Artificial Intelligence (AI) department, turning them into new Microsoft AI and Research group.
 
The group will be led by Microsoft global vice president, director of Technology and R&D department Harry Shum.
 
“At present, digital technology is changing our lives and our businesses, and even the whole world. Meanwhile, it has produced, and will continually produce a huge amount of data and information. We will devote ourselves to help them solve the urgentest problem through AI. To make this into reality, we need to integrate AI technology into all products and services we offer.”
