Qualcomm says no to Korea government

In recent days, Korean Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) writes a $854m citation to Qualcomm.
What is interesting was that in Feb. 2015, Qualcomm came to an agreement with China’s National Development and Reform Commission, accepting a 1b dollars citation written by it. After 22 months, Korean regulator seems to eager to emulate it.
But the same beginnings are followed by different stories as Qualcomm said no to KFTC.
“We strongly object against the judgment,” stated the company. They considered the judgment as an violation of convention of patent license that has existed for over 20 years globally. The number of fine is irrational since it isn’t corresponded the scale of Korean market.
