Nokia comes back

Media report recently that CEO of Nokia Rajeev Suri said the company would fully use its advantage in technology and network to seize all chance in consumer market. The Indian senior executive stated when represented in the 18th Nikkei Global Management Forum, “The ability to acclimatize constantly” is a key factor of the company’s long existence.
 
Although Nokia sold its mobile communication devices business in 2013, it then purchased telecommunication device company Alcatel-Lucent and wearable medical device manufacturer Withings, enhancing its business portfolio.
 
Depending on its “very powerful” brand, Nokia is going to reconstruct itself in changing technology and network industry through Withings.
 
“We considered that the opportunity of marching to the consumer market and combining it to our network business is great for us,” Suri said.
 
Furthermore, the opportunity is not only limited in medical care, but includes a bigger “programmable world” which connects the things and data of public businesses and auto-pilots.
 
By the 5G-based innovations of virtual reality and perception device, Nokia is developing new products that can reduce lost in pipe leaks and electrical fault.
 
These innovations need higher and more capable network to support an new Idea called Internet of Things, which they view it as “global nervous system”. It is predicted to build the future of technology and change people’s experience.
