Korea¡¯s network speed ranks 1st for continuous 11 months

It is reported that Korea’s average network speed was 26.3Mbps in 3rd quarter, 28% faster than the last quarter. The global average network speed in 3rd quarter is 6.3Mbps, increased 21% to the last one. Chinese Hongkong and Norway rank 2nd and 3rd.
In addition, the coverage of broadband networks with the speed of 10Mbps, 15Mbps and 25Mbps were 78%, 61% and 34%, rank 1st, after the same rank in last quarter. Its 4Mbps broadband network coverage was 97%, raise to 1st from 3rd.
As for coverage of next generation internet represented by IPv6, Belgium got 1st and Korea got 35th with coverage of 1.2%.
