3GPP approved NB-IoT supporting Band 70

Disk Network announced recently that the global wireless standard organization The 3rd Generation Partnership Project has officially approved NB-IoT which supports Band 70.
3GPP initiative allows Band 70 to be used in developing NB-IoT devices and network infrastructures, and other potential use.
Its NB-IoT standard lays foundations for wireless network infrastructures’ and devices’ development. Make them available for low-cost and high-density deployment covering. The batteries of those devices can be used for 10 years.
The Band 70, which was approved in June, is capable of supporting LTE-Advanced Pro. It combines three model: DISH’s AWS-4 frequency are for downstream link (2000-2020MHz), H block downstream frequency (1995-2000MHz) and DISH AWS-3 upstream link frequency(1695-1710MHz).
